Acrylic skull

A little out of my comfort zone, my first real attempt with acrylic paint.Attachment 12287

cool man, i like all the little scratches and texture you put in, especially around the top of the eye sockets. teeth are cool too, i like how uneven they are (in the he-needs-to-see-a-dentist way, not poorly-drawn way).

only thing is i find your signature kind of jarring and i think it takes away from the piece overall. maybe if it was a bit smaller, or even if you left it big but changed the value. the sig is brighter than any of your highlights on the skull so it is what 'pops' instead . maybe bring some of that bright highlight into the skull and it would really make it shine.

^^^good advise on the highlights. Amazing for your first one, no need to fear acrylics they are the easiest paint to fix:)

Yes I agree, I already took the signature out. I didn't have a smaller brush at the time lol
