thats whats up..nice
Great job! My Stealth was my intro to rotaries. I'm thinking of getting a Swiss since they are so similar.
That's really good, what stroke length Stealth are you using?
thanks.it has the long stoke, and with the damper i use it now between 6-7 volts.without it needs around 8 volts.i was surpised also but it seems like the force of the stroke is much better because of the up and down motion.i never had an dragonfly tattoo machine in my hands but i think that is the same method that they are using.tomorow i ll upload some photos with the "thing"-it s a raw model, not painted,no nothing yet.yesterday and today i used it and i had the impresion that i hold a marker in my hand,so i made a tattoo in 1,25 hrs that otherwise would last about 2 hours.you can feel the diference quite well when working around 7-8 hours
Did you just ad a slip to the cam at the arm pulling the armature down? Been meaning to try that with a stealth belonging to Alie K that has been rattling around for some time not being used.
You can get the real stealth from dinodirect for $50.00
Attachment 1436 Damper for the stealth
Oh I see how it works now, that totally changes the machine stroke too in so much as it no longer has an arcing motion. The grommet looks different too I've not seen them with a closed end cap before.
Very clever prototype otto! Have you thought of using teflon or delrin for your piston?
