I am guessing that this may be a prototype of a new or older version of the German Evolution but who can say for certain? Not me at least. Has anyone ever seen this before?

It's an oldie I think!
I thought about asking you directly. Could you possibly ask the maker? I know you have/had contact with the builder. Or could you pass his email along to me so I can ask him?
saw this one on ebay i tought the same as you gabby
I've seen pictures of a new prototype timo is working on, and it doesn't look like this!
I would really like to know how to contact him so I could ask him if he made this one.
I received the machine today and it is nearly as silent as a NeoTat and runs at about the same voltage. I think the layout and design has a few real smart additions. Like the rubber band lugs on the back or the sideways facing split collet for the tube vice. It will be interesting to see how hard it is to set up having to cut the needle eyelet off. However if I could contact the builder and know that it isn't a rare machine or a one of a kind, then I would make my own modifications to it to take a standard needle.
Here are some more pics. If anyone is willing to share contact information for Timo, please PM me so I can email him.
