Gorilla Painting

This was my first painting I ever did in Acrylic 2 years ago. Was trying to learn how to paint and did so with cheap paints. Frustrated the crap out of me. This painting is the reason I paint in oils now. haha

No buddy just cartridge paper or brown recycled paper if i want to add some white pastel

Have you ever tried drawing on good paper? Makes a huge difference, trust me. Give it a try. Makes a way larger difference than any pencils you use or anything. Its like the difference between tattooing on nice milky redhead's skin to a construction worker's leathery skin. It's also way more archival.

mmmm, milky white redhead! Wait... what were we talking about? Oh yeah, the gorilla looks great, and you can achieve awesome results with shitty acrylics, they just need mixed with the extenders.
