Tattoo I did today
5rl and an 11 mag with two Rapier II machines.
My client brought in a picture and I based mine off of that. I drew this on with markers and tattooed it on. It is my preferred way to work and hope to do even more in the same style.

What machine did you use for the outlines and what pens do u like best for drawing on skin i got a shit ton of sharpies and tried out tim.hendricks pens for the fine lines after my sharpie sketch but they rub off quick. looking into secureline surgical skin markers for the final linework sketch

Rapier II for everything, lines and shading. I used a 4.2mm stroke with standard spring for the lines and one with a soft spring for the shading.
I used staedtler lumocolor markers for drawing, however I only did rough gesture shapes and most of the tattoo is freehand. Or at least most of the details. I use a lot of needle hang and float over the skin with almost zero pressure and build up contours and detail.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. I am glad everyone likes it. The client was pretty happy and that is what matters most, but to hear that other tattooists like it is even better.
