Rotary Works Heaven

Not too long back I acquired a maxon powered RW(original)springer (from Slicksteel I think?) used it a few times and fell in love with it!! Absolutely perfect for my hand. Had an older RW standard aluminium model that I seldom used, couldn't part with it though as one day I hoped to get to grips with it? Any ways Dale swiftly provided me with an aluminium spring give system (to fit an older model) for a great price and a 12v motor which he didnt charge me for! Used the "new" ali machine a few times and to be honest it is without doubt the nicest machine out of the box I have encountered (obviously my opinion only!) As luck would have it just a little while later I acquired a few more Maxon motors for very little money and quickly converted the ali model utilizing a 22mm plastic cap and rca fitment and am now like a dog with two dicks:) No disrespect intended towards Dale as in its original state it is an absolutely fantastic creation, I just like to tinker with my machines (coil and rotary) to get them to suit my hand. These machines (in their original state and modified if you like?) should not be overlooked:)Attachment 21888

Nice Mod.....I am pretty sure Dale is happy for us to get the best from his machines, even if it involves "tinkering"...I am a big fan of both Springers, and I still believe he doesn't get full recognition as some people may think the low cost is an indicator of build quality.....Nothing is further from the truth...There is a learning curve with any RW machine that "almost" requires the user to forget what the know, and go with their instinct...The machines are well engineered but utilize a straight forward drive mechanism and require a "return to basics" technique when running them, by that I mean, matching the volts and depth to your handspeed....

yeh took me a few goes with my rw machines(which i think was only the weight change from coils) now i love them! cheep as chips, great build quality, customer service ect.

great machines, I went on a rotary journey, spent a lot of money. Now, back to what I started with, Rotary works
