The website says the stroke length is between 3 - 5mm, so it's a little longer than I'm after. No doubt a fantastic machine though.Quote:

Even if the stroke on a machine is a little longer, you can just raise your voltage a little and not hang your needles out as much to get that shorter stroke. There are lots of artists out there who do that.
I love my mid stroke and short stroke neotat for black and grey, though I also enjoy using my rotaryworks and the occasional swash. Some of those machines have a huge stroke, some not so much. I just adjust the needle throw by moving my tube.
Funny you should mention this. Today I did some B&G using my special technique slingshot, it has a very long stroke,yet I was getting some great results,really smooth no stippling,and you ought to see it pack color.Quote:
