Are they still making the bearings different colors? I used to use the gold one mostly - I think it's the mid-stroke. I never had any problems with that hanging up in the skin. At their uppermost position, the needles never hung over the edge of the tube. I'd run the machine around 6.5-7 volts if I remember correctly.
