Use the pwgs on the sides, and dont run the machine more than 6 volts, cuz it will destroy the rubberbands cuz the motor is very powerfull..i have gaved a one hor run to the machine, like all the machines i make and i didnt ad any prb, cheers nick

I'd be tempted to go to a decent hardware shop and get some o-rings large enough to fit.
Post a photo of the way you are putting the rubberbands on? I'm curious I have 3 nicks machines and never even saw a rubberband look worn in any way while tattooing. I'm curious :)

You could go with needlerunners or get Sage to make you a needlebar tensioner. I think needlerunners work very well with all of my rotarys.
i looked today... mine haves a stroke from 4.5mm and its the wheel that spins the rubs against the rubberbands that makes them snap
