The halos are my second choice - they are just great machines.
Best way to put it - the Kubins are just a great first pass machine that have the ability to do the soft blends as well.
Forgot to respond back to this. I went with 2 Kubin MC2's recently. They are amazing machines. It's taken me some time being a coil guy to get used to lining with them but I think now I've gotten the hang of it and they are awesome tiny machines.
I line with the Swashdrive Gen 8 and an EGO, the Ego is great for tight groupings and fine line, the gen 8 pushes 7's and up very well.... Its all subjective to the artist though
