sure slick...
Left my deposit today. My staff and I are excited to try it out.
looks like it would suck to clean if you work at a busy shop. how are you gonna sterilize it? cold sterilize in between every tattoo? not fun.
i bag my machines and use disposable tubes and then i wipe them down with germicidal wipes like thousands of tattooers. and i have nuemas which i can throw in the autoclave. doesn't look like you can bag this machine. looks like a germ bag.
why cant you sleeve it?, cable and all. secure it with a band, Use Cling film over the whole thing each time it's used, wipe them down with germicidal wipes, and at the end of the day break it down and Clave it,
The mention of disposable tubes aint worth a thing cuz it uses cartridge so i dont realy get your point? it aint rocket science
I personally don't see a problem with bagging it, I use the T-Tech system and bag it and I guess that I will be doing the same with the Marksman, they even said they have a solution for using the T-Tech cartridges in a safe way so lets see what they come up with regarding T-Tech and their non sealed catridges. I don't see any difference between how you would bag this machine and how a lot of people bag the Cheyenne HAWK, I don't think people have like 10 HAWK grips laying around to switch between customers, just my 2 cents :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=o8xMiVSprxk#! here the video showing on how to use t-tech tips with my machine, and yes you need to clean the wrench ...and it will make it alittle bit louder because of the piston hitting the plastic.
Love it, cant wait, checking my mail for the paypal request all the time, he he he :)
Denner im sending it to now.........thank you.
Hey merky is there any problems with it adjusting the needle depth while you tattoo? is there a way to lock it at a set depth with out it changing on you?
slick next video is coming to show this,so check back in few hours,
so here is the adjustment head video ....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5i4O...ature=youtu.be
I see, you have a set screw for adjustment. Pretty good idea. If I ever decide to switch to cartridges this would great.
That is one nice looking machine merky and looks realy well made for the price!
haven't been on in awhiles, know i asked to be on the list - put my deposit through just now.
I sent you pm
Paypal sent :)
thank you i sent you a pm.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4Ykl...ature=youtu.be here is a video explaining the gearing..and set scew pressure.
hey, not sure if its been mentioned, i couldn't find it anywhere - what is the stroke length for the machine?
The stroke is adjustable form 0 to 5 mm, just set the desired length you want and tighten the set screw and away you go.
hmm...not sure if you're describing the length the needle comes out from the tip? i understand that's adjustable. what I'm referring to is how the needle travels up and down through its motion when in use.
matfink the set travel 0f the piston is 3.mm.
sweet! thanks for your patience and the info.
got mine today..I have 2 appt.'s later, I'll give it a whirl then
limey you think your waiting lol,,, a few ppl got there machine so waiting to see what they think.
Yeah I bet Merky, you managed to get this out onto the market pretty fast too so you must be on tenterhooks waiting for some feedback!
Biggest selling point for me mate is that the motor is in the housing and not at a right angle. Sadly I was blessed with gorilla hands and the Hawk is just plain uncomfortable for me to hold.
limey the marksman boudy width is 1.34 , I got meat hooks too limey so dont feel bad.
I've had a chance to use the marksman and i must say I'm impressed. there are some things i really like about it and there are some things I wasn't crazy about. But overall I really like the machine. The things I really liked were it performance, it tattoo's really well and there is absolutely no vibration at all. My dragonfly felt like a jack hammer compared to this machine. It very comfortable in my hand. I tattooed with it for 3 hours yesterday and when I was done it felt like I hadn't even picked up a machine yet that day..
what I'm not crazy about it the size. I know merky said he wanted to put a little weight in the machine and he has meat hooks for hands. I do not have meat hooks and would have liked the machine to be a bit thinner in diameter. 1.34" is a little beefy for my liking. I would love it if he could scale the handpiece down to 3/4" to 7/8".. this way I could put a disposable grip cover on it and it would lighten the machine a bit.. having said that, the machine still felt very good in my hand and was a pleasure to tattoo with...
I also wasn't crazy about the depth adjustment. its a bit of a pain in the ass if your using the machine for both lining and shading because you have to change the depth between liner cartridge and shading cartridge. And without knowing exactly where you are in your adjustment, you have to kind of guess and use a bit of trial and error to get it where you want. If your just using it for lining or shading, then its no biggie, you just set the depth and leave it alone...but when I used it for both, it was a bit awkward sitting there, pulling out a allen wrench in front of the customer and fiddling with the machine...
again, I really liked the machine, the upsides far outweighed the downsides (i LOVE the absence of vibration in this machine)...merky, you made a good one!
thank you man, Im glad you liked it, and thank you for a full review i need the good and the bad.
i really want one of these... maybe after the new year, been following it on here and looks like a really cool machine
