My Review on the Bishop Really stocked on this thing so far

Thank you Alie. I ordered the stuff from Amazon I posted Im a little confused though if it isnt even the same as Super Lube?

Anyways this stuff is great as far as I can tell without any comparison to other products. But I can definitely tell that the Bishop is even more silent than it was before after I applied some of this stuff.

The Bishop is the best thing Ive bought in years its just amazing how this machine works... Im still trying to make it work for me as a liner but all the lines I try to pull of with it turn out a lot thinner than usual, Ive tried a 5 round 0,30(10) liner, a 5 round 0,35(12) liner, a 7 round 0,35(12) liner and a 5 round 0,35(12) shader all longtaper needles so far. I had the best results with the 7 round at 9.9 volts. I went up to 10.5 with the round shader. Maybe I will switch to a larger grouping generally.

I use regular il scilicone oil nothing special, it's made for plastics and metals ao not sure I need anything better, if it works for Airsoft guns, it should be pletly good enogh?

I used to play paint ball for years on high end guns-there lubes are some of the best around for plastics ,rubbers metals etc.

As you are useing a clip linear machine you are actually get a true needle stroke. On coils,direct drive rotarys,swash drives you will get a bigger line as there is more wobble.
look at the needle grouping and then the line, standard groupings needle tips are actully very thin if you loop it, we are just used to a coil machine making a bigger line as the needle tends to jig about in the skin causing a fatter line.
Try a bullet tip liner with the bishop/neo tat and you will get a bigger line as the taper is not as thin and sharp,so the tip is just a bit smaller then the shank area.

Looks a little different. You may have gotten a grease or paste lube instead of the liquid version. I'm not an expert on lubes, so I'm not sure if it will have an adverse effect, but I'm sure it's better than nothing at all. As long as it's either the same brand, or is meant for the same types of materials, it should be fine, right?

This is safe for tattoo machines and is non-toxic to us, be care with toxic lubes as they can get on gloves etc and transfer to the client.

The Super Lube stuff I bought isnt going anywhere after application so I think this wont be an issue theres nothing running or dripping.

Ill post a pic of the description which is on the tube but I think its suitable for the machines slider mechanism.

I've looked on the UK Amazon site and i found a product called Super Lube and it was manufactured by a company called Loctite which are well known in the UK for their adhesives.

Super Lube is what Franco recommends to use on the Bishop. I use Super Lube on all my rotaries and use very little, don't use oil for it can get into the motors more easily

Hmmm I had the same issue (not sure if you can even call it like that) with the Swiss Rotary so I think it might be the whole rotary system machines that result in thinner lines. Maybe its because of the way the needle hits the skin, with a rotary to me it feels like the ink is pushed into the skin while the coil hammers the ink into it... Just a thought...
