I pretty much have abandoned lining with coil machines now and have been using the 2 prototypes that became these for my linework.

Can you get fatboy lines with these? what motor?
Jameco motor I found after trying lots of other motors, it was the one that performed exactly the way I wanted...fatboy lines achieved
which would you say works better as a liner the springer one or these direct drives-for fast traditional solid line work
Definitely the direct drive. I set out to make it as a liner only but it can do all just like most rotaries can.
They are beautiful, what do they cost?
oh yes..looking good I see on your web site it says 380.00 is that forum members price also?? and you have short stroke up on the site what all strokes are there??
Thanks! Pricing is $380 for carved/oil dipped and $400 carved/powder coated...forum members can have $30 off. My strokes on the direct drives are short=3mm, medium=3.4 and long=3.8
Those look simply amazing! I love the attention to detail and how each one has that hand carved feel.
I really like the way you carve these things..they look very cool.
It makes me think of something that came from outer space , fell in the ocean , got discovered , than polished...very organic looking....
It's hard to get this just right,.. And you do.
