just seen this on instagram, can anybody fill me in on how the cam works, as to look at the stroke seems huge in terms of where the nipple is placed on the cam! but i gather its some sort of design that keeps the needle straight whilst in motion!
will be a good solid machine no doubt just like the rest of the range!Attachment 22512

oh ok, this CAM eleiminate the lateral movement of the needles bar, ROCK....I LOVE THIS SYSTEM

I see! The stroke isn't as big as it looks. The way the armature nipple is way out on the side of the cam makes the stroke look huge. But when it runs the nipple stays practically still besides the up and down motion. Very clean!

I had a play about with the one sent to Skinmech, it had around 3mm of throw
