When I bought mine through protat, I got an extra long cam with it (4.2mm I think). It's easy to change. I can post a couple of pics of the process when I get to the shop today.

So, here are the steps.
1. Unscrew and remove the front plate.
2. Remove the slider to expose the cam.
3. Locate and remove the allen screw on the underside of the machine, to give access to the retaining screw on the cam.
4. Remove the cam screw completely. (This will be a smaller allen screw). And remove the cam.
5. Slap a new cam in there, re-lube the slider and frame. And reverse all the above steps.
When replacing the front plate, you might want to put the screws in loose and run the machine while tightening them. Sometimes the plate can bind up the a-bar if it's not completely aligned.
Hope that answers your questions.
That is awesome thank you, is there any way to know what size cam she already has-ie markings?

The cams I got from protat have the stroke length etched on the back of the cam.
Those can really push carts well?I had a standard one and found that motor pretty weak..
The v3 specific pushes carts just fine. The v1 and v2 struggle a bit and need a rubber band to help balance the return pressure of the cart.
Yep, the Specific 3 is made to handle carts. That's all I've used with mine.
What size is the Allen key to fit the cam only, I'm having trouble locating my key in the "bolt" to remove the cam

Man, I'm not sure exactly what size it is. Both of mine came with the machine. I'll try and figure it out tomorrow, when I'm at the shop.
Okay, it looks like the Allen screw on the cam is 1.3mm.
Thank you
