Spektra Halo/ Assembling and Disassembling for Sterilization Tutorial

I posted under here as it is a kind of review-tutorial.
This video shows how to take it apart for sterilization and how to put it back together.
No tools required, no parts flying out. Designed and though for everyday sanitation if needed.

This is the prototype so is missing the tensioner and the slider that shows in white is actually black on the final thing.
Knob vise to change most likely to a hex shaped one (thanks to users feedback in here) for an even easier sanitation.

The motor cap will have actually only one turn rather than 8 like it shows now. Again this is the prefinal proto.
We are moving forward with the full production now.

I must say it looks very simple to assemble and reassemble, definatly the glock of TM's! Good job! My machine CANNOT be autoclavable. I destroyed all my pretty anodized grips to the ultrasonic, I would make note in the docs to not place it in one if you haven't already. Nice machine...

You are totally right. Ultrasonic washer destroys anything that's aluminum or plated. I will bag this machine regardless. Safe to madacide it if you prefer but make sure you release the motor cap first.

I am perfecting the system to have only a full turn instead of 8. Also the way the motor sits does not required welding. You can pop the motor out of the cap if you needed to, no wires... Right now you can even take the rca with your hands if it goes bad (testing this system still). The main concept was to build a machine that doesn't require tools for maintenance (almost) You need only an allen for the piston to secure the armature pin. I even made an armature pin that you can screw in the piston with your hands, but I think the secured bolted version is going to be final. Even the bearing comes in an out with your hands.

Waiting for new sliders (made several revisions to it) so I can post new updates

I will shoot new ones in Vegas at our booth. Juan Salgado will be testing it. Johan Finne was starting a piece at the shop, he was using a 23 today and last I've heard he was really please coming to the shop and snap another vid.
