Hi all,

My name's Shai, and I'm a licensed tattooer in Fairbanks, Alaska at Sublime Line Tattoo Studio. I currently run Neuma hybrids and NeoTat Vivace's, but I'm always looking for new machines to try out and build my arsenal/collection. I'm fairly new to the professional tattooing world, just became licensed last month after two separate apprenticeships under two separate artists. It's good to know there's a forum out here where I can get answers and converse with others who share the same interests/issues. Looking forward to interacting with everyone!

Interesting is definitely the word haha. I actually started as a piercing apprentice, so technically I had three, but I don't count that one. The first tattoo apprenticeship was under an alcoholic power tripper. I spent most of my time playing chauffer to the bars for him. He got fired and the bossman picked me up. Learned more in the first week on that one than I did during the entire time I was with the other cat.
