i just recieved the hm la pinta , great machine yet it is extremly load at 8volts... is that normal?

Didn't you get voltage guidelines? There is quite a significant difference in my Santamarias sound between 5-8 volts.

I think la pinta is 5-7 right?

its 6.0 to 6.9 and can run lower as well

Yea, i just my pinta - santa maria hybrid from Roman, but bought so many machines, so didnt run it more than 1 hour for now.
