hyper v3 ink running
hello guys
i do have a problem when using my hyper v3. everytime i use it, the ink runs up the whole tube. i tried different bends in the needle. and i did not work upsidedown for a long time. never had that problem with other machines, even if i worked upside down for a longer time. any ideas or ever had the same problem? thanks

it s the bend of the needle bend it just under the eyeloop
-
gonna try that out, thank you. right after the eyeloop? and on the solder not?
-
Sometimes excessive tention on the needle bar from the needle bar tensioner will make ink creep aswell.
-
ive had the same problem and i would put a lil vasiline on the needle bar

Put just enough tension on the stabilizer, no need to screw it on too much. Just as it touches the bar, all you have to do is to turn the screw slowly so that there's enough tension on the bar or that it pushes on the bar ever so slightly.....
it really doesn't need much tension, just as if you were to use a couple elastic bands and the ink should run up the bar anymore.

thanks guys, will try out. i like how the machine performed. hope that helps

Bump. Been having the same issue with my hyper V1 and can't figure out what to do.

i did try out some of the advises i got here. and for me that one with bending just after the eyeloop did a great job. since i bend my needle that way i do not have any ink running up the tube. thanks for all the replies

I had that issue a couple of times and the other guys hit it pretty much spot on. These days I'm bending a little bit at the loop and a little bit at the solder, and I have zero "creep." asA is right too, play with your needle stabilizer a bit. I found that having it rest on the bar just enough to keep it steady and keep the needles on the bottom of the tube reduces the ink creeping as well. Just my 2 cents.

Solution found, thanks everyone. Removed the o-ring off the nipple, as that's how I got it, and put a slight bend in the a-bar near the loop and had zero issues today tattooing two 4+ hour pieces.
