Ah, not sure about the older version. I would check inkmachines.com for the manual.
Is it the Dragonfly X2 ?
Glad you got it sorted and good choice of new machine. Enjoy!
Hi Alexandra, if yr V3 does finally shuffle off this mortal coil, like I've said previous, have a look at a dragonfly X2, I've just replaced my Halo and my V3 with one. Fully adjustable and for me it...
I've just got one to replace my Halo, I mainly use HM machines but unfortunately Roman doesn't make a fully adjustable machine (stroke and give) and I like to have at least one in my arsenal mainly...
I've just had an incident with my halo and some white ink, so thought I should replace it just in case I couldn't get it going again. Plus my hyper v3 must be 5 years old now so really needed a fully...
The only real advice I can give is this, between me and my mate we have 3 hyperv3's and they all behave VERY differently. So even if you ended up buying another V3 the chances are it wouldn't be like...
With a bit of effort and a lot of experience you can do any tattoo with any machine no matter what it costs. However, I run a 4 machine set up (each machine has its job) purely because it makes my...
Depends how many machines you run, if you use cartridges and are happy with a one machine set up then there's a huge choice. If, like me, you use 3-4 machines then I recommend the Bavarian Custom...
All good stuff, which grey wash are you into lately?
Like myself, there could have been a pre existing or underlying condition. But back on topic, looks good, best wishes with it.
MTF ?
I'm no expert on cartridge machines as I don't use em, but what difference would a Cheyenne adapter for any grip make, it would still be a cartridge grip and therefore still a cartridge machine with...
Although I've never dealt with them personally, this appears to be a consistent problem with "team ego", it's a shame as the builders I have dealt with have been totally the opposite, very helpful...
There's some really nice tattoos there matey, well done.
I believe the Halo 1 stroke wheels do not work though, you need to put Halo 2 stroke wheels on the Halo 1 motorbolt. That's how I interpreted what I read but I could be wrong.
Somebody needs a hug.
So it just a tattoo machine that's actually worth a fraction of the cost.
£802.60 for the gold "limited edition collectors box set". What the fuck is in the box to justify that? I'd expect it to wash the car, cut the grass and take me to the pub every Sunday for that...
Like it, nice one.
Bottom half of this was all done with the 3.4mm version. Can't fault this machine really.
Ok so have used this 3.4mm machine on two large tattoos with a standard 9 mag, found it works best for me at 9.5-10v and did everything with it, solid black, soft black and grey, bit of colour...
I've just got the 3.4mm version, had a quick go with it to put some solid colour in, impressed so far. I'll be using it for 2 full day sessions today and tomorrow so I'll know more after then.
It's all to do with what machine suits you, you could spend a shit load of cash on a number of machines that people have recommended and none will suit you. I was switched on to Roman's (HM) machines...
