On the V1 all you had to do is change the screw out on the vise with an Allen screw. There is a thread on this forum about it.

yes over the rubbers you can change the stroke and give ..its like the springs on coils and for the coils you get a DCX Maxon motor ..with the black/black rubbers its hits pretty hart and fast with no vibration and spluttering ,for smale needles i use blue/black to get a bit give in the hit - and i use it for the detailwork and smal areas ,for the bubblegum areas i always use the sidewinders but have not try the apex
Custom maxon dcx configurations can go well above 200$ easy. Explains the high price tag.
yes ,but the other is the cost in europe is always much more .... the CNC Body is from the factory much higher as from a american factory ,we have a lot of taxes on all. Because this the Dragonfly or stingray - all machines from europa are expensiver and we have to pay 19 to 22 % extra vat on all what we buy
I have notice a Maxon motor is in the USA cheaper as in Europe :X
plastic or not the first ego is a great machine. i just replaced the vice hardware and its fantastic. noisy but great
in EUROPE the TAX are very high, the cost of productions is much more expencive than USA,
EUROPE is stupid counrty.....
First of all Europe is not a country, second if we want to buy somthing in the usa we have to pay allot of tax also ! This works in 2 directions and it suck!
u are in EUROPE or USA ????
in USA many EUROPE made things are chepest than same european country produce, becouse the tax , VAT and import that USA don have, so that i buy a example a DRAGONFLY in USA is cheapest than SWEDEN that proudce, that i buy example FK IRON here in UEROPE is expencive than USA that produce
THAT U LIKE OR NOT....
I bought $120 of Ttech carts the other day and had to pay 28€ here in France to the governement for the VAT tax !
