    Bishop stroke length

Looking into buying a bishop from someone in a different state. I don't know much about bishops. Is there a way to determine stroke length visually without measuring? Is there a dot indicator or something?

    I've got 2x 3.5mm strokes and a 4.2mm - the 4.2 has it engraved underneath near Franco's signature.

Amazing machines - use them daily.
