    Did a lil ladybug today

To start off with I'm no Nikko or anything and I'm on my second year of tattooing. I normally do neotraditional work and black and grey but I did this today with my ego and a curved 11bugpin from mithra and am rather happy with it. No it's not perfect by any means but I would love to get into doing more realism and hope for some pointers . Thanks in advance

IMO there is a lack of crispness to the ladybug, unless you were going for an impressionistic style, then nm, but it seems like you were just a bit timid during this session.

good news is... its a good start...

wait for it to completely heal.. and go in for another pass.... sharpen it up.. re-saturate.. blend.. and put in some bright ass wicked white reflection highlights..

    has potential...

Yea I don't do realism so it was a bit of a challenge and the crisp edges are something that I'm working on . Trying to get comfy with edges without lines if that makes sense
