    Acrylic paint help: blends

Started this painting a few days ago, it's no where near completion, just getting frustrated, I haven't used acrylic paint before and finding it difficult to get decent blends even with retarder. I'm using all Golden brand paints, synthetic sable brushes for acrylics, and watched a few short videos on youtube....I dunno what I'm doing wrong but any advice, criticism, critique would be appreciated

I like that, thanks, I'll have to pick up and try some stiffer brushes tomorrow.

    Acrylic paint help: blends

So jesoner, what kind of stiffer brushes do u speak of? As far as the material of the brushes go. I use Windsor and Newtons and oil-like blending like you have in your work is something I've been trying to get for a looong time
