can anyone recommend a stingray?
I found a good deal for one in my area are they any good?

I've bin thinking about getting one aswell, but soooo expensive, and I keep hearing mixed reviews,, its confusing.

I've heard loud and rattles. I was advised to just stick with the long stroke DF

The stingray is a little louder with the hard hitting cam.. With the smooth cam it is a lot like the dragonfly. It's a little hard to see the differences in the stingray and dragonfly at first, but after swapping out cams and switching to the cartridge spring I like tattooing with the stingray a smidge more.
If nothing else the stingray is a more versatile machine... beings you can switch out 4 different cams. (100ish dollars for the cams on top of the regular machine price.) So if you already have a few dragonflys and love them I'd say the stingray is a good addition.

yeah never used either, the only rotorys i own is are hawks but i figured i would give it a go since i would be getting it for half price

Yeah half price is a good deal.. Its a world away from the hawk though ..
