I wonder when Franco will have the new machine available-the dedicated liner? I'm really looking forward to that.

Got my Bishop today waited two days for the delivery, I was lucky to buy one directley from a German supplier... I can only imagine what kind of pain it must have been for you guys waiting that long for the machine to arrive... The machine is black I would have preferred a purple one but the different color = more waiting time made my decision easy ^^ At least I have the RCA version I wanted.

So far so good I just had the chance to run it without actually tattooing today but Ill use it tomorrow cant wait to do so...

First impression of the machine is really really good its a solid machine and it feels great holding it seems like the perfect weight for a rotary to me not too light and not to heavy...

Had a little trouble though getting the machine to work properly there was a spring between the slide mechanism and the frame that was actually so strong the machine didnt start until I pushed it manually. Even on a higher voltage like 13 something the machine wasnt able to start running again after stepping on the foot switch. Any advice on this problem? Maybe the spring is too long? Do it need it for any other reason than pushing the slide in its upward position?

What kind of lube is the best for the machine? I read something on ordering a lubricant directley from the manufacturer but the shop isnt online...

"super-lube" seems to be the one people like the most. I would check since you are in Germany with Zapp or the Limey what they have found in the EU that works best since I am not sure if the super-lube brand is available out there.

As far as the spring, I would not remove or cut it. Probably best to shoot Franco a PM on here or email the folks at Bishop. It may be something really simple to remedy.

the stuff I have seen looks like this:

Rather then mucking about with Amazon I would ask Zapp what he uses, I am almost sure he has a Bishop and know he is in Germany.

I stand corrected then. I hate having to order stuff online but do forget I live in a major metropolitan city and if I need superlube I can get it pretty close to my home.
