    halo getting hot

    yesterday i was tattooing with a 9rs ate 10.3v in a critical power supplies and the motor was getting hot really hot, in the middle of the tattoo a change rubber bands because a was thinking that was to tight but dinīt change nothing. anyone have the same problem ?

    That's a lot higher volts than what I use. I'm at 8-9 V. Is the bearing free spinning and lubed?

    I use my halo at around 7.2-7.5 for black and grey,and no higher than 8 for color. I use the first gen critical power supply. Call FK Irons if you ever have any issues,they are extremely helpful.

    i use mine for line from 9.5 till 10.5v and it seems very slow, for color the same as line, a donīt use for black and grey because is a 4.0mm stroke
    yes is lube an oil.
    may be the motor getting old?

    Only oil or oil and grease? Because if was only oil probably your motor have oil in it
