I used it to tattoo some color on my calf today and I must say that the centri
is the most painless tattoo machine I have been tattooed with!

I would say yes. in the conventional sense. Even though it functions differently then a "rotary", isn't any dc motor driven machine considered a rotary? Idk. Did you ever figure out how to turn that dial?

I would say there is Coil, Rotary, Neumatic, and now Centrifugal. I could be missing a few. I think the pen ones like the stylus have a name for there vertical system not sure what though.

the one thing ive really been curious about is the lining? with the machine being "100% give", do you have to crank up the voltage to lay a solid one pass line? and does the voltage determine stroke as well? also, if so, is the cobras stroke length function the same? thanks for info.

you can adjust speed and your stroke with the voltage and speed and stroke with the adjuster with the cobra. You will be able to find any stroke you like or need.
