    ....and a bunch of handmade ones including the springer dd with adjustable stroke (bottom two).

    Love them all. If you ever want to send one away to Germany for summer camp let me know! I would return it with a lot of hours on it haha

    Well someone like direct drives..

    That springed dd.. does it really make a difference? I really love dd's because of the fastness and all but sometime I miss the give.

    I know, right...I love them. And yes, there is a difference you can feel. I've done several pieces with them and so far, between the near silence and the ease of use, they're the one of my best designs. Plus I like the way they look. What makes them even more interesting is the adjustable stroke adapter. I know many builders have developed new cam systems to make them adjustable, but l wanted to built something different.
