This machine is so tiny and solid! It is quiet when ran and seems very strong! it runs 7 lines like nothing, just draw and the ink is in! Dan made an amazing machine with this! For all the talk of the sidewinder, these next generations are unbelievable!!!!!!!

The side winder doesnt have the fixed "connector". The cam on the sidewinder hits a spring that drives it (almost same as before but now you can see it). Both now have fixed stoke lengths - 3

So this uses the same give as the old cranker? Is there a benefit over the cranker? Does the side pulling crank arm eliminate some vibration?

Yes and no. Hes coming out with a new cranker as well. The benefit is there is adjustment for both hit and stoke, as opposed to just stoke. Also lighter than MC

it doesn't vibrate at all really, it has 3 adjustment points for stroke length and a way to make it hit "hard" or have a bit of give. this machine is very smooth and even loaded with a inch tube and needle it weighs as much as the sidewinder without a tube. it is very light!!
