stylus drive bar

Mid tattoo the other day my drive bar splintered on my stylus-s. The way the break is it looks like there was a small fracture. I was expecting something to happen any day now it's been acting a bit odd and inconsistent. . Much like a coil machine runs when a spring has a fracture. Anyway. I contacted Rick on facebook asking about purchasing a replacement drive bar. Haven't heard back yet but in the meantime I found a simple fix. I took an 18 ga. piercing needle and trimmed it down to the length of the drive bar. I slid the drive bar into the needle and crimped the ends down. I was thinking of applying a touch of solder but honestly the crimps are super secure. If anyone ever has their bar break there you go. Fast easy fix
