Jack your the best! OwlsDen appreciate the link. But do we have any other artists that have tried different motors and had better results. Share the experience

What I mean to ask are there any other artist or builders that have used a different motor, be it maxon or any other maker.

I love my stylus, ben running mine for over a year, I've used 27mags,, and I don't need to ever go over 13 volts,, its just anough power to do it all,, most the time I use 13mag bugpin, at 11volts,

So wouldn't the 24v version be better or would that be too powerful? It's the same size and the numbers are similar?

I personally believe it is going to be better ... it has just a bit more speed .. but you will need a power supply that goes up to 24V. because probably the sweet point will be around 20-24V. I would give it a try if I were you.. it should run a bit better .. only issue is to find the power supply .
    Good luck.
