Inkjecta bars won't fit Hawk grip

I just bought an Inkjecta Flite combo and tried to set it up today with my Hawk grip but the little cylinder around the bar won't fit into the grip. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing how old is the hawk grip? I had a old grip from my hawk when it first came out. Mine didn't fit so I had to file the hole out bigger..

Strange. All the other grips I bought which are newer worked no probs. . Your only bet is to send it back or grind the hole bigger. It's not a bad job as I done it to mine it's just a pain as you want to use the machine.
