How about that issue where the give knob would turn by itself while you are working? Did they sort that out? Had to use Teflon tape on my yellow halo 1 to stop it from happening

Although the give follows the same principal, we re designed it completely.
Several features were added to ensure the give knob will not unscrew:

    - There is a tighter tolerance between the knob and slider threading
    - New shaft friction O-ring.
    - The knob is now made out of the same material as slider which creates better friction between both components
    - The Knob has improved griping.
    - The give it's easy to turn yet will not unscrew.
    - We now use a different Delrin composition than prior version.

i just used the halo today on a good sized fore arm piece and it is a very nice machine! i set the give a full turn after lining, to do black and grey and I had a blast using this machine!IMG_6648.JPG

    the halo 2

So far I did a few palm size tattoos with it.. I enjoy the amount of give this machine has as their is tons of it... Although I myself diddint find a need for all of it.. It will get soft enough to not penetrate the skin.. The weight and feel of the machine is nice as well.. It has less vibration then the original halo and I really enjoy setting a machine up with out having to pull out rubber bands or grommets.. All in all I think it's a great tool and has its place in my daily lineup.. Once I get a few more hours on it I'll understand a lot more about give with carts and differences in cart tension vs give on a machine.. Thanks again Gaston!

Just put my order in on the FKirons site for one of these bad boys + the matching grip 15 minutes ago. Can't wait to try this thing out!!!! I got an AXYS rotary a month or so ago and really love it, especially for lining, but even with the softest inkjecta give bar I'm looking for a bit more give. Sounds like this is the ticket.
