LI Direct

Picked up an LI Direct from Lithuanian irons, posted to uk from lithuania in 4 days. Lovely little machine that is incredibly light, in fact cant feel it sat above my usual stainless grips . It comes complete with 2 strokes 3mm and 4mm , an aluminium cart grip and a special little tool for opening the loop on a standard needle bar. Tried it out first with some 7cmags EZ carts which I bloody hated, found the tips too obtrusive and I really struggled to see the needles, I use a fair bit of needle hang to begin with so protuding them further is not really an option.Will check out some other makes as soon as they arrive. Tried again the following day set up with a conventional needle and the 3mm stroke, was nice but I really felt at home as soon as I switched to 4mm in fact I think I smiled all day incredibly smooth machine with nothing to lube, I think I'm going to like this onesd.JPGtomb.jpgli.JPG heres a pic next to my Rotaryworks for size comparison and a first piece done with the LI
