A 4mm throw hawk.
Yep I've had to much time on my hands this week so I had a idea I've got 2 og hawks one with a halo motor thanks to gaston and the other has its og faulhaber so I was thinking to putting flitev2 cam on it. How easy it was. I had to grid a little metal out and shorten the grip stem and that was it.. now its 4 mm throw or any throw I like. To change the throw it's a simple unscrew the push bar then unscrew the body and little allen key.
Well it saves me money in buying a new machine like nickos bishop or the flite v1

Yep it been done. About 3 years ago.... oh the holes in the flite cams are bigger so as you tighten in up the throw gets bigger so to get around 4mm I used 3mm it seems it don't take much to put the throw out.. 4mm cam makes it easy over 5mm.

Well the og faulhaber motor is no more I had a halo bolt so I took the motor out of that... now its alot smoother I then which back to the 4mm throw and lovely. Nice quiet with a great throw. I ended up drilling a hole in the top so I can change out the cams without opening the body.. I'm tattooing myself tomorrow so I will give it a spin out... works well on the practice skin I make from molding silicone.

It reminds me of the film the good the bad and the ugly. When the ugly goes into that shop and pulls all the good guns apart to make a gun he likes... haha
