    Work in progress

This Asian Skull is a work in progress. So far just outlining, shading and a little colour here and there. Lined with a Southern Cross Customs Liner, shaded with the long stroke dragon fly. Colour in the flames is Gen 6 Swashdrive. The little bit of colour in the skull itself (lots more layers to go yet) was done with the swashdrive whip. I haven't done a whole lot of Japanese, so this is new territory. One black, some moms, silverback, starbrite and intenze inks were used.

I really enjoyed using the whip for this type of colouring, it's soft and smooth. IMHO, a better alternative to the swash Gen 7 (which I have used previously for this colour layering). I've also used the dragonfly for this effect with similar results.
