Hey all, my name is Colby and I have a little shop on the West Coast in NZ. I've used coil machines for about 20 years. Mostly I stuck with my Lauro Paulinis and a couple of powerful Swiss built machines. It took me a long time to even get near a rotary or swash. But WOW. A very different feeling, very quiet and steady, so much more like drawing! I just ordered both the swash gen 7 and whip a couple weeks ago and I'm addicted. I'm still in the experimental stage, trying to feel out the subtle differences in adjustment for lining and shading. I'm not used to the all-in-one thing, but I like it. I see a long romance with these machines in my future!
