Antique Rotary Machine From The Collection of Tim Hendricks

Found this entry about an antique Rotary Tattoo Machine that lives in the private collection of Tim Hendricks of Salt Water Tattoo. Tim is also a very well respected west coast tattooer and machine builder, though as far as I can tell he has not made any Rotary machines to date.

Bah it has a light and an ergonomic (or not) grip... that's pretty damn cool for when it was made.

John Clarke is a mad scientist! Even his very functional coil machines are just complete madness.

i talk to john from time to time and unfortunately i don't think he's going to make anymore of these.
for some reason he hates making these rotaries, but he's got something really cool in the works rotary wise.
knowing john it might come out next week or next decade, he's a man with many irons in many fires...

I'm pretty sure that's an electric pen, a dressmakers automatic pounce for pattern making . Note the wire guide ring to assure perpendicularity .
