I chose 6mm mainly for the way I made that particular flywheel.
it works. that one is actually 6.6mm! -I re-measured. I have just been playing around with different lengths.
It works awesome for whips with that huge stroke.
5-5.5 is a little more versitile though. that's going to be the more common stroke I put on my liners/packers.
The good news is that I can build one with an enormous stroke, and still keep it under control.
I can make them with whatever stroke someone wants.
The dampening isn't readily adjustable. i can build one that is soft or stiff or rigid. it's more on a maid-to order type deal. -and make extra "dampers" that you can swap out.
