    which machines are your favorite for what?

    Its true that a lot of rotaries can be very versatile but I find that certain ones do better at certain jobs. I thought it might be fun and interesting for us to list our machines and what we use them for primarily. It might inspire us to go outside of our comfort zone with them.
    here mine

    Gen 7 (soft clip)- black and grey
    Gen 4 (hard clip) - lining
    Rotary works - lining
    German evolution - black and grey
    bishop - color / lining (bugpins only)
    dan kubin - color packing
    Stelth - paper weight (lol)
    blunderbuss - waiting to get it in the mail !!!

    I agree, most rotary machines are capable of the 3 main functions of lining, shading and colouring but excel in 1 or 2.
    Here's mine;
    Rotaryworks-Lining
    Rapier 2-Lining
    Mike Metaxa-Colur packing/whip shading
    German Evolution-Shading/colour blending
    Stealth-colour packing/shading
    Vivace-getting me excited-due any day
