    loud blunderbuss?

I bought a blunderbuss a few months ago for my color packer(i mainly do b&g)but it seemed to be awesome. i pulled it out the other day and noticed it to be extremely loud. it sounded louder than my work partners coil. it dont sound loud without the tube and needle just when its set u p. Is this normal? Cause i switched to rotaries for the light weight and quitness. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe you've got some harmonics going on with the tubes you are using, are they hard plastic disposables?

i noticed my Rapier 2's are a tad loud..but i think its the harmonics from the the disposable tubes...i put a lil oil from my dragonfly in the slider..that quietened right up.
