You think you will ever offer custom color combinations? Say body color choice and hardware color choice. Like say an international orange body with black hardware? I am just saying that I might need one like that.

oh don't get my wrong, it is still quite light, not as light as a full plastic swash or anything, but still nice on the hands. I have lots of hand/wrist problems, so I appreciate rotaries for the same reasons.

So in Dan's machine there is more attention to good balance then just light weight it sounds like.
That and dog forbid it gets dropped you worry more about the floor then the machine.

I can do different color hardware..such as stainless. I could also powdercoat the hardware whatever color..I may do some in black to have on hand
the ones with the brass hardware are 4.5 oz.
I can also make them with an aluminum armature and end cap which makes them 4.1 oz..if my memory is correct.
