    Here is another pastel piece.

    I did not use any green pastels on this just blended blues and yellows.

    Very nice! Props on the Hulk piece! Do you normally steer clear from the pure colors and mix what you want or was this an experiment?

    With pastel I build the colours up so tend to stay away from pure colours for instance for flesh tones I put down a light pink then use a mix of magenta and golden yellow to add the tones.

    I really like it! Most ppl tend to use pure colors... every now and then (when I'm in the experimentation mood) I'll use colors like that. It adds a nice challenge. You pulled it off VERY well though. Well done!

    BTW, the day of the dead portrait is beautiful! Looks like a photograph.

    I've tried blending wet into wet with acrylics but I'm going to have to try pastels after seeing this, thanks for sharing!
