    Some of my favorite machines

Some favorite rotaries and coils. I use them all. Hoping to add a few more to the arsenal sooner than later! Some girls buy shoes, I buy machines...

That's an impressive collection Allie! What machines do you find yourself using the most or are they all in constant rotation?

I have a bunch that are for very specific things - some of which I don't get to all the time. For example, I have a Scribe machine from Safwan that is set up for singles and tight 3 detail work - it's heavy and slow for when I need to do very deliberate lining. My copper Mike Young machines are for big configs. If I'm using really thick gluey ink, I'll use my Rotaryworks or XL stroke Vivaces, I got my Lucas Ford and Jimmy Whitlock liners at the last convention I went to after some really nice chats (and the machines were so darn cute). I'll use my Neos if I'm doing bigger tattoos where I need multiple machines out because I want 2 different size shaders and 2 different weight lines and don't want to mess around with changing voltages. I'll use them as 'the spirit moves me'. Some others I use on the extremely rare occasion, like my next gen. Only reason I still keep it is because I bought it from Keith Chiaramello and he was always really nice to me and didn't make me feel like a goon for asking questions. Bunch more on the list that I want to own. I either need another drawer, or another place to lock my tracing paper so my coworkers don't use it up on me...

I like the Blunderbuss a lot, but it's currently my "good-will, hey try this rotary - they're not that scary, you'll like them" machine. It's on loan to my friend - I've been meaning to get it back - I miss it!
