    American Eagle 1 review Yessh!

Well here it is! It runs great has a offset gearbox (wow),had it up to 10 volts with a 13 mag.The chuck realy grips with just a twist. It is realy balanced ,quiet and light weight. It runs with just a little bar sway not like most directdrive rotarys.I think it was way ahead of its time.Any else have one i will buy or trade a coil machine for it.Would be cool to see a new one like this but with a maxon motor and swiss gears.

I'd never seen one before this was posted on ebay but looking at your photos it looks similar to a 1/10 electric race car motor set up that's been mounted in a custom frame.

Atually gald it was rca i have some my coils setup that was why i bid- I use a well made rca to 1/4 plug form radioshack and a gold adapter on neotat so that is verstile for me.althoe my rapiers have the the smaller jack i like the best of all. I was thinkin of putting a high end rca motor in it. Its pretty cool machine as it was all custom made except the motor.I wonder who made it and what it sold for orginally.

The motor may live longer then you think. I would wait till it gives up the ghost and then worry about swapping it out.

I can't think of the guys name.
He has the vietnam tattoo on his legs from Tom Renshaw.
Tom did the work useing the eagle 1
The guy also makes the eagle 1 power supply.
I know he still make the power supplys.
I got mine at the inkin lincoln tattoo show in the mid 90's
    Hope this helps some.

Cool info! Hmmm if I can't get an Eagle 1 machine, at least I might be able to get a power supply...
