    machine slowing down after a long tattoo

    hello i´m new in the forum and in the rotary tattoo machines if some one cod help me i appreciete
    i got a swashdrive gen 7 and a stigma bizzare v2 and after a few hours into the tattoo the machine starts to slow down
    is this normal?

    both machines slow down?
    can't=finished by end of today, impossible=finished by end of week, out of your mind=already finished

    Might be your power supply, or might be a loose cable. After some time if the machine heats up then the RCA cable could loosen up. Or if it is a clip cord, it could be just a bad connection.

    i´m starting to think that the probem is from the power supply

    Maybe youre not cleaning out the tube often enough while tattooing and the machine slows down because it has to push the needle through the dried ink blood etc.?

    i dont think the probem is cleaning. becose and i´m using gray whash the same probem append.
    what power supply are you using?

    Are you using one of the critical knock off (hurricane type) power supplies?

    I had a Critical knockoff in use for about a year and I had some issues with different machines but they did stop totally not just slow down. The Hurricane is a total crap supply not worth the money... I bought a EMS400 last month and all my machines are running perfectly.

    no but my power supply is not new and is not digital but whith coils run normal
    the new power supplus are a bit prici can enyone tell me a good power supply? i now that eikon and critical are very good but for less money can a get a nice one?
