    Some Stingray action

Made this one for machine builder Ernie D. of Deluxe Irons...covered the motor with stingray hide.

Thanks...yeah it was a little tricky but not too bad. Found some amazing adhesive for working with leather and metal.

I've only used stingray on coils but found that contact adhesive gives a pretty decent bond whilst giving you enough time to fiddle with the join area and get it smooth/tidy. My biggest issue has always been cutting the damn stuff to size accurately because of all the little bumps.

Yeah the bumps were fun haha...yep, a good contact adhesive does the trick. I have a nice leather store near me that sells a lot of neato stuff.
