    new to the forum

    hey all! my name is Greg and I stumbled across the forum while researching to buy my first rotary..this forum definitly has helped and taught me a ton so far! i ended up purchasing a Bishop and a Vivace for my first 2 rotaries...now im hooked!!!

    Both very similar machines. What stroke length did you get them in? And by the way, welcome!

    thanks for the welcome! yes they are very similar,both machines i have use the 3.5 stroke length..i really liked the stroke on the Bishop thats why i bought the Vivace with the same length(3.5)..

    welcome. I was the same way when I first started with rotaries, same basic machines/strokes. you'll find that with every different machine a whole new world opens up.
    can't=finished by end of today, impossible=finished by end of week, out of your mind=already finished

    thank you..yeah im really looking forward to trying other machines and stroke legnths in the future..its only been a few weeks that ive had my rotaries so im still getting used to them,but im definitly impressed with them!i would like to use rotaries for everything and eliminate my coil machines..for now im still using my coil for most of my lining..i have my eye on that Dan Kubin mini cranker and i may purchase one in the near future.
