Swash drive Gen 6???

Do all gen 6's have the printing on the side? How do can you spot a fake ? Any dead give aways?

Genuine Gen 6 have the writing on the side...avoid anything that hasnt got it!

It got 2 versions, 1 is black plastic another is stainless steel. Black one 2models as well exactly the same but early model is no writing on the side but latest one got writing both side, S/S model stamp under machine. At least only brass material of both versions(plastic&S/S)you can find are biding post.

Some special model is adjustable that will got little 2holes off Allen key on top of bearring which is opposit side. This model user can adjust to shot or long stroke by Allen key move up or down each side for balance swing arm(bearing).

And one more thing cover bearing is black color and have writing "OUST MOC 9"

this company got Gen6 early model without writing too, tube vise still using wing nut

I forwarded this to Tony (Swashdrives R&BD guy) and this is his response ....

....... all gen 6 machines had the swashdrive in the mold, there was only the one mold made..... the link refers to unimax and the print was on the other side of the machine, it was not on the side of the stainless one.

So guys that is straight from one of the two guys on the whole planet who would know for sure ...
